Saturday night tornados ravaged northern Ohio. Amongst the many areas devastated by the storms was Martin in Ottawa County. I noticed some sheet metal blown off barns on the way up, but when I got to this area I was taken back for a few minutes. I could only imagine what it is like to have everything in your life, besides yourself and family, taken away in a few minutes.

I love that top picture man
you've captured some pretty surreal scenes that seem to remind me that there are fierce winds working against us (and sometimes for us) in ways that are beyond our control. i've always been afraid of tornadoes (my nightmares often include them) and the thought that my entire world could be torn away from me. the sparseness of these frames reminds me to count my blessings while reminding me that life is a turbulent force much stronger than i can understand.
These are beautiful Charles. They are the only photos I've seen from it. Thank you for sharing them.
the photograph of the red door instantly gave me goosebumps.
