We're on a first name basis now..... I'm not happy about it.

Tall Grass
I took this on the way back to my car after I shot an accident scene. When I got back to the office I saw that my good friend and excellent photographer Pete Larson had a similar picture on his tumblr. Check it out and all of his work as a matter of fact. He's one of the many people at Viscom that inspire me to death.
Erie
Sitting on a dead tree beside dead fish and shot gun shells. I tried to get some thinking done, but decided that silence was more of what I needed.

Shelby Jean-Lee Knight

Let it be known, I love children. As my experience has been, children love me as well. Great minds think alike, right? This is Shelby. She was adopted to a wonderfully loving family and has grown from a trembling, premature, drug addicted new born, into a powerful personality. My current secret to getting children comfortable is to let them play with my camera. In their young, curious worlds filled with 'no noes' and 'uh uhs' it seems kids lean towards the guy who lets them play with expensive grown up things. A drop from two feet is a lot better than its normal 6 '2 trip.
Cinco Demayo

I shot a new party store on Cinco Demayo. I asked if they sold a lot of stuff that day. Surprisingly Sandusky doesn't make too big a to do about the old Mexican holiday as you would think. Or if they do, people don't find their fiesta supply needs met by a place appropriately named Party Place. I asked these two nice ladies if they would be good sports and wear some festive decor for a photo. They declined. Then I used force. But why shouldn't I. After all they work at the Party Place, so what do they expect. Look at it this way. The thought of having their photo in the paper the next day flaunting a shinny new sombrero is all the more reason to go out and have margaritas that night. Sadly though I didn't see them out and I had to drink theirs for them.

An Act Of Bob

I started a new folder on my computer named 'On The Way To's' which I've been filling with out the window shots taken to and from assignments. Yesterday I managed to leave a baseball game only a few minutes before it started to pour.... a miracle all on its own. Coming from the rolling hills of Appalachia, I was surprised to find out that you can actually see the rain coming towards you on the plains. I was awestruck to say the least. All in a day's work, I experienced an act of God, took a stop at the book of John, and learned about the power of Bob.
